The Science Academy Program is designed for college-bound and first-year college students from the Jackson-Madison County School system. The Science Academy provides students with an academically challenging environment that greatly stimulates their interest in science, technology, and mathematics so as to encourage them to pursue careers in STEM-related disciplines. This federal program is hosted by Lane College and is funded by the National Science Foundation.
