Program Overview

  • The University of California (UC) President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is one of the longest existing initiatives to support newly minted doctoral students in the country. This program encourages top women and minority scholars to pursue academic careers at the University of California. Founded in 1984 to train promising scholars with the potential to contribute to the diversity of the UC faculty through their research, teaching, and service. The program has supported over 700 fellows.
