Program Overview

  • The California Predoctoral Sally Casanova Scholarship was created to grow the number of prospective California State University faculty. The scholarship assists California State University students who have experienced economic and educational disadvantages. The program prepares students to succeed in doctoral programs and prepare for teaching and or research careers at the college or university level.

Program Benefits

  • Funding from this program can be used to present research at conferences and symposia. Additional support is available for GRE preparatory courses, graduate record exam fees, and membership to professional organizations.
